Rental+ Program
How long do I get to keep a rental? A rental is not due until the end of the semester. All Fall 2024 rentals are due on or before December 13th, 2024. |
I like to buy my books instead of renting because I may need to keep them. Why should I rent? We have a Rental+ Program, meaning the full rental price paid can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester if you want to keep your book. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay $50 to keep the book at the end of the semester. |
Can I rent books or packages with an access code in them? |
Can I write or highlight in my rental? Standard writing/highlighting in the book is allowed. Excessive highlighting or writing can result in the rental being deemed damaged (See question below). |
Why do I need to put a debit/credit card on file for a rental? We require a debit/credit card to be held on file in case the rental is not returned or damaged. |
How do I return my rental? You can return your rental to the WarriorWear store anytime during business hours.
|
What if I don’t return my rental? The bookstore will charge the card on file for the list price of the book plus a $10/rental late fee. |
Did you get the books I returned? When rentals are returned, you will receive an emailed receipt showing they are returned. |
What if I want to keep my book? Please contact the LC State Bookstore to let us know that you want to keep the book. The LC State Bookstore has a Rental+ Program meaning the full rental price paid will be applied to the purchase price if you want to keep your book. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay $50 to keep the book. |
What if I need to extend my rental? Please contact the bookstore to pay the upcoming semester's rental fee. |
What if I lost or damaged my rentals? |
Rental Agreement Your rentals are due back by the end of finals each semester. I will return the rented materials to this bookstore on or before the rental return date. The bookstore is not responsible for reminding me of the rental return date and is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in shipping. I am fully responsible for the condition of the materials rented to me and for payment of fees and replacement costs if rented materials are lost, stolen or returned in unacceptable condition. Unacceptable conditions include, but are not limited to, water damage, pages torn out, binder spine fraying or falling apart, excessive highlighting and writing on pages, and missing CD’s or other study aides. All rented materials are subject to these conditions and the Bookstore will decide what is or is not acceptable at the time the rented materials are returned. If I fail to return the rented materials by the rental return date printed on my receipt the credit card on file with the bookstore will be charged a $10.00 late fee per book and the full retail list price of the rented materials. If the credit card on file is declined or has been cancelled, a bill will be sent to the address on file. If this bill is not paid within 30 days, it will be turned over to a collections agency. Replacement of rental materials (exact duplicate, correct ISBN, title, author, edition, etc.) will be accepted in lieu of any damaged rental materials on or before the rental return date. The Bookstore’s refund policy applies for all rental materials." |
